| LABOMAT - Silo |
| Small-scale plant for conveying and dosing
powdery bulk material with poor flow properties |
|
The LAB Small-scale plant does not only minimize the investment needs of an automatic dosing system, but also the ongoing operating costs by exactly weighing the desired formulas. Moreover, only those suspensions are prepared which are actually used up in the subsequent production line. The potential for cost savings demonstrably amounts to 10%. |

Silo extraction system
The silo extraction system is used for the automatic extraction of powdery bulk material. During the extraction operation, no dust is generated. The extraction system is flange-mounted onto the silo cone and can therefore be retrofitted to existing silos, as well. With the help of this extraction system, even bulk materials with poor flow properties can be withdrawn without any problems and without bridging and forming funnels.
Up to three silo extraction stations with different bulk material components can be connected to this Small-scale plant.

LABOMAT
LABOMAT is a suction/pressure conveyor with volume or weigh dosing system. It sucks the bulk material out of the extraction station and conveys it by means of compressed air (or CO²) into the mixing tank.
Depending on the requirements, it can be delivered with a volumetric capacity between 50 and 450 litres. The weighing operation allows an accuracy down to +/- 100g per released quantity. The Small-scale plant is controlled via an operating terminal in the control cabinet door. The unit comes ready to plug in.

mixing tank
In the mixing tank, the dry components are mixed into the suspension. A forced-type agitator ensures the desired homogeneity.
The powdery bulk material is filled into the mixing tank below the liquid surface, without any generation of dust. The quantities released according to production request (e.g. suspension for the filter) can be provided within a few minutes. After the automatic self-purification, the mixing tank is free for new suspensions again. Thus, one and the same mixing tank can be used for different formulas and different production lines within a short period of time. Therefore, there is no need for investing in several mixing tanks.
